Lymington Marinas & Moorings

With two large marinas and plenty of moorings, Lymington is home port for thousands of pleasure craft of all shapes and sizes and the Town Quay is still used as a base by commercial fishing boats. As a result a comprehensive range of marine services is available here. Lymington is also one of the most popular destinations on the south coast of England for visiting craft.

Lymington Yacht Haven is the first marina you see as you make your way up the Lymington River. It has 600 fully serviced berths and space ashore for 230 vessels. The marina is accessible at all states of tide and manned 24 hours a day. Excellent facilities include showers, a laundry, the Haven Bar & Restaurant, a chandlery and a small convenience store. Free WiFi is available throughout the marina. Visitor berths are subject to availability – contact them on VHF Ch 80.

Berthon Lymington Marina, VHF Ch 80, offers 280 deep water berths for vessels up to 45m (150ft) for overnight stays as well as long term berthing. Modern facilities include water, power, fuel, showers, laundry and a bar restaurant. The on-site boatyard is equipped to deal with all aspects of boat maintenance and repairs. WiFi is available in the marina.

Haven Quay Lymington is a dry berth marina at the foot of Lymington High Street close to the Town Quay for RIBs and motor boats up to 10m and sailing yachts up to 8.3m.

The Town Quay Pontoon is operated by Lymington Harbour Commissioners and is available on a first come, first served basis for vessels up to 40ft. These are the closest berths to the High Street and are therefore busy at peak times. Please note that rafting is required here. Water and WiFi are available free of charge.

There are also 40 fore and aft mooring buoys for visiting boats adjacent to the Town Quay. Orange buoys marked M and N nearest the quay are for boats up to 34ft. Buoys marked B, C and D are for boats up to 42ft.

Showers and toilets are available on the Town Quay and included in the charge for all berths.

Advanced booking is required for Dan Bran Pontoon, located on the west side of the river just after the Lymington Yacht haven entrance, for rallies and other events or for large yachts. Electricity and water are available on the pontoon. Contact Lymington Harbour Commissioners for further information or to book.
